He received his Master’s Degree from New England Conservatory of Music, working with Patricia Zander. Touring with the program "Sharing a New Song," Mr. Hollister performed as accompanist and soloist in performances in Russia, Georgia, Estonia, Ukraine, and Armenia.

Mr. Hollister is an active accompanist and performer with many well-known choral groups in the Boston area and in Nashua N.H. He regularly accompanies Coro Allegro, the Boston College Chorale, the Dedham Choral Society, the Framingham Heritage Chorale, and the Nashua Choral Society.

In 1995 Mr. Hollister accompanied a performance of the Rossini Messe Solennelle with the Handel & Haydn Society. Other public appearances include several performances of Carmina Burana with the Boston College Chorale, the Framingham Heritage Chorale, and the Nashua Choral Society. Earlier this year he appeared with the Nashua Choral Society as accompanist and soloist in a concert dedicated to the music of Schubert.

Mr. Hollister has accompanied many vocalists and instrumentalists. On a recently issued recording of solo piano performances by gay and lesbian pianists, he is featured playing two Debussy Preludes.
