Walk for Music

On Sunday, May 23, 2010, members and friends of Coro Allegro participated in the 2010 Walk for Music and Arts to raise much-needed funds to sustain the chorus.  So far we have raised approximately $9,000 and it is not too late to support us!

Founded by Ellen Schreiber of Boston ’s Back Bay Chorale in 2003, the Walk for Music is held annually in late May and attracts walkers from 100 Boston-area music and arts organizations.

Participating organizations raise pledges and retain 100% of the funds they raise.  In this period of budget constraints and reduced arts funding the Walk for Music has been a critical added source of revenue for Coro Allegro.  Thank you in advance for your generosity in helping us meet our goal of raising $10,000.  Contributions of all sizes will help us continue to bring exciting repertoire and vibrant music making to Boston audiences.  As always, contributions are tax-deductible.
