Matthew Bridgeman and the Boston Children's Chorus
Matthew Bridgeman joins Coro Allegro's November 2011 concert as the boy soprano soloist in Bernstein's Chichester Psalms. Matthew is a 7th grader at John Glenn Middle School. He enjoys singing and listening to many types of music, and he currently sings in the Concert Choir of the Boston Children’s Chorus under the direction of Michelle Adams. Matthew's musical talents also extend to trumpet and piano. He is active in the boy scouts and participates on a cross country team as well as on a competitive Lego Robotics team through MIT/Lincoln Laboratories.
The Boston Children's Chorus harnesses the
power and joy of music to unite our city's diverse communities and inspire social change. BCC singers transcend social barriers in a celebration of shared humanity and love of music. Through intensive choral training and high-profile public performance experience (locally, throughout the U.S. and around the world), they learn discipline, develop leadership skills, and proudly represent the city of Boston as ambassadors of harmony.
