Concert honors the memory of composer Daniel Pinkham

Coro Allegro's February 23 concert pays tribute to composer Daniel Pinkham, a major figure on the Boston music scene for 60 years who passed away in December 2006.

During his lifetime, Daniel Pinkham featured prominently in Boston's classical music scene as a sought-after composer, faculty member at New England Conservatory, conductor, organist, and musical director at King's Chapel.

"An amazing, capacious, loving and kind individual towards so many different people"

That's how Boston-area timpanist John Grimes described Daniel Pinkham in a recent interview with Coro Allegro in which he talked about his musical collaborations and friendship with Daniel Pinkham.

Read all of this wonderful interview with John Grimes and learn why the memory of Daniel Pinkham is special to so many people.
