Devotion: A Celebration of GALA Choruses
Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 4pm EDT / 1pm PDT

Coro Allegro
David Hodgkins, Artistic Director
Boston’s LGBTQ+ and allied classical chorus

In a year when we nearly lost the GALA Choruses organization due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Coro Allegro shines a light on the shared devotion between GALA and its member choruses through the prism of our journey of mutual inspiration and evolution.

Today’s presentation features music and stories from composers, conductors, singers, and LGBTQ+ advocates on the impact of GALA Festival and the LGBTQ+ choral movement. Thank you for joining us as we honor the GALA Choruses board and staff with the 13th Annual Daniel Pinkham Award and celebrate changing the world through song.
