A Midwinter's Wine-tasting with Coro Allegro

On March 13th at 6:00pm, we are hosting a special event: A Midwinter's Wine-tasting. Bruce Fields, co-owner of Bin Ends Wines, is partnering with Coro Allegro to offer education about wines and how to pair them with foods. Coro Allegro chefs will be showing off their culinary talents for tastings of wine and food pairings. This special evening promises to be a great opportunity to meet and socialize with the extended Coro Family, and will be a truly sensational experience.

The event will take place at 144 W Canton Street in Boston.  You can purchase tickets on-line or by contacting your favorite Coro Allegro member.

 

Walk for Music and Arts

Each year Coro Allegro singers, board members, and significant others participate in the Boston Walk for Music and Arts.  Founded by Ellen Scheiber of Boston ’s Back Bay Chorale in 2003, the Walk for Music is held annually in late May and attracts walkers from 100 Boston-area music and arts organizations.  Read more ...

Coro Allegro held its first online benefit auction, Servizio Allegro, from November 7th to November 22nd.  The auction was themed to offer unique experiences and services to our community, and resulted in proceeds of over $6,000.  Read more ...

Winter Cabaret

In partnership with our hosts at the Loring-Greenough House in Jamaica Plain Coro Allegro members will showcase their individual talents at our intimate Winter Cabaret on Sunday, January 3rd, 2010.  The concert series, now in its 10th season, recreates the atmosphere of 18th and 19th century “musical afternoons” in the 1760 Loring-Greenough House.  Read more ...
