Coro Allegro is hosting additional auditions for our spring 2023 concerts on Sunday March 12, and Sunday, May 7. QTBIPOC singers are especially welcome to apply. To schedule an audition, please use the form below, send an email to auditions@coroallegro.org, or call us at 617-236-4011.
The audition is approximately 15 minutes and consists of a range check, vocalizing, pitch recognition exercises, and sight-singing. You do not need to prepare a solo piece.
Coro Allegro rehearses most Sunday evenings from 6pm to 9pm in Bates Hall at Church of the Covenant, located at 67 Newbury Street (corner of Berkeley Street) in Boston’s Back Bay. Rehearsals will occur on Monday evenings on weekends with a Monday holiday.
If your audition for Coro is successful, you will be expected to sing in all remaining concerts for the year. Please review the page about membership.
