The David Hodgkins Dream Fund was established in June 2013 to honor David Hodgkins on his twentieth anniversary as Artistic Director of Coro Allegro. This year we honor 30+ years of David’s unswerving commitment to artistic excellence, his brilliance at infusing traditional choral music with a fresh interpretation, his passion for presenting the work of living composers, and his dedication to celebrating the music of underappreciated and marginalized composers have molded Coro Allegro into the preeminent choral group that it is today. This Fund builds on the foundation that has been laid by David Hodgkins, to ensure that his vision, along with those of future artistic directors, will continue for many decades to come.

The David Hodgkins Dream Fund supports initiatives that would otherwise be beyond the scope of Coro Allegro's annual operating budget, such as commissions, premieres, artists-in-residence, and large-scale choral works.
